Eaton Vance pays $50M for Miami office building


Providence, R.I.-based Eaton Vance Management has acquired a 147,895 square foot office building in Miami, Fla., for roughly $50 million from Australian-based Rubicon America Trust.

The deal was brokered by Steve Buss of CB Richard Ellis.

The building is located near the Miami River at 333 South Miami Ave. It is currently leased on a long-term basis to two United States Government agencies. Eaton Vance Management is a subsidiary of Boston, Mass.-based Eaton Vance Corp.

Buss is a senior vice president in the Investment Properties Group and has been with CBRE since 1995. He recently brokered the $49 million sale of the Shoreview Corporate Center in Minneapolis.
