2/20/2008Hampshire Co. expands into Wyoming with 30,000 sf acquisition
by Eric Ramsden | | 2515 Foothill Blvd. | The Hampshire Companies has expanded its portfolio into Wyoming with the acquisition of a Rock Springs bank building from Rocky Mountain Bank. The acquisition was made on behalf of The Hampshire General Fund, a private equity real estate investment fund. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Hampshire was represented in the deal by associates from the Chicago, Ill., office of CB Richard Ellis. The three-story office building is located at 2515 Foothill Blvd in Rock Springs, Wyo., about 180 miles northeast of Salt Lake City. Hampshire secured a long-term leaseback deal with Rocky Mountain Bank for the 30,000 square foot building. Hampshire recently purchased a two-story office building in the Denver suburb of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and the Pelham Bay Professional Center in the Bronx. The private real estate investment company also announced the disposition of a 66,750 square foot retail building in Maple Shade, N.J. The two-story building is located at 590 Route 38 East and is currently fully leased to Mealy's Furniture, a family-run store with locations in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey.
