30 units on Manhattan's Upper East Side trade for $10.3 million

Massey Knakal Realty Services handled the $10.3 million sale of a five story apartment building at 44 East End Avenue on Manhattan's Upper East Side.

Massey Knakal's senior director of sales for the Upper East Side, Thomas Gammino along with CEO Paul Massey represented the seller, an un-named family that had owned the building for 50 years.

The buyer was a Manhattan investor.

The building at 44 East End Ave. is between East 81st and 82nd Streets and contains 30 units among its five stories. It is a mix of one-bedroom and studio units and the bottom two floors are currently vacant.

Mr. Gammino joined Massey Knakal in 2003 from Marcus & Millichap's New York office where he was a founding broker. He holds a law degree from New York Law School and formerly practiced real estate law.
